This book is full of great wisdom on what one has to do to develop his/her leadership skills. I like the idea that John Maxwell started by defining leadership as influence. This is a basic principles which I think will endure the test of time. The rest of the idea are really useful especially for those who are starting their leadership journey, which by the way means when you start influencing other people in your own way.

What made me give this book a low rating is the high amount of typographical errors all throughout the book. This is the first John Maxwell book that has lots of mechanical errors. I hope the book was thoroughly proofread before coming out of print.

Nevertheless, the ideas and content are great and be prepared to spots those errors. I would recommend the book for its ideas but not the way it was probably written nor published.
